Cari amici e care amiche,

oggi vi parliamo dell'ultimo artista che ha colorato la nostra Guest-house.
Stiamo parlando di Suse Kasokota
che con i suoi "vasi" ha decorato la stanza numero 8.
Il quadro è molto bello: il rosso, il nero e il bianco
accendono in maniera particolare la stanza.

Dear friends,

today we introduce you the video about Suse Kasokota
an artist of Livingstone who moved here some years ago from North Zambia.

His paintings named "pots" represents the african culture of the table and its black red and white pots
give color and energy to the room number 8.

Now all the paintings are in the Guest-house.

Cari amici, continuiamo ad aggiornarvi riguardo ai quadri che abbelliscono
le stanze della nostra Guest-house. Per trovare gli artisti abbiamo indetto un concorso
che si chiamava "9 rooms in search of an author" in collaborazione
con la Fondazione Cariplo
e la Famiglia Diappi.

Oggi vi parliamo di Clare Mateke.

E' una pittrice autodidatta che ha realizzato il quadro
"the honey badger and the honeyguide"
ispirato al celebre mito di due curiosi animali
che vivono nella foresta e vanno a caccia di miele.

L'interesse di Clare per la natura ci ha molto colpiti e gli ultimi secondi del video
sono dedicati agli uccelli feriti che lei amorosamente accudisce.

Dear friends, we want to continue to report about the paintings
realized for our Guest-house at the end of the contest "9 rooms in
search of an author" in collaboration with Cariplo Foundation
and Diappi Family.

Today we want to introduce you Clare Mateke.

It 'a self-taught painter who painted "The honey budger and the honeyguide"

inspired by the famous legend of two curious animals

who live in the forest and love honey.
